About our Los Angeles Kings news
Latest news on the Los Angeles Kings, a professional ice hockey team based in California who compete in the Pacific Division of the NHL's Western Conference.
Founded in 1967 as part of the National Hockey League's expansion, the Kings played their home games at The Forum in Inglewood before their move to the Staples Center (now Crypto.com Arena) ahead of the 1999 season. They share their home arena with the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
They won their first Stanley Cup in 2012, defeating the New Jersey Devils over six games. Their second and most recent Stanley Cup feat came two years later, where they beat the New York Rangers over five games.
The Kings also have minor league affiliations with the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League (AHL) and the Greenville Swamp Rabbits of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).
