About our Armenia/Azerbaijan news

Live headlines on international relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including the latest updates on disputes, military action, summits and much more.

Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan are typified by on-going border conflicts which began as the First Nagorno-Karabakh War in 1988 as part of the Dissolution of the Soviet Union. Border skirmishes have continued until the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War in 2020 until a ceasefire was signed in November 2020, and enforced by Russian peacekeeping troops. Continued skirmishes in the region, however, between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces have claimed hundreds of lives.

This feed updates continuously 24/7 so check back regularly. Relevance is automatically assessed, so occasionally headlines not about Armenia/Azerbaijan news might appear - if so please contact us regarding any persistent issues.
