Latest news on The British Open, also known as The Open Championship or simply The Open, one of the four major golf tournaments in the world, along with the Masters, the U.S. Open and the PGA Championship. It is the oldest golf tournament in the world, founded in 1860 at Prestwick Golf Club in Scotland. It is held annually in July at various coastal links golf courses in the United Kingdom.

The 2024 British Open was the 152nd edition of the tournament and the tenth time it was played at Royal Troon Golf Club in South Ayrshire, Scotland. The winner of the 2024 championship was Xander Schauffele, who won by 2 strokes.
