About our Los Angeles Dodgers news...

Latest news on the LA Dodgers, a professional baseball team based in Los Angeles, California, and part of the National League’s West Division. Established in 1883 the Dodgers were first formed as the Brooklyn Grays in New York. Over the next 75 years the MLB side went under various different titles until finally settling on the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1932, a name they kept for 25 years until they were controversially relocated in 1958. Following the move to the west coast the side took up the name the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Once established in Los Angeles the Dodgers achieved immediate success by winning the World Series in 1959. This was the second time the side had claimed ultimate baseball victory after they won their maiden title five seasons before. Since their second championship win in 1959, the Dodgers have won the World Series seven more times with their most recent victory coming in the 2025 season. The team’s colours are dodger blue, white and red.

The Dodgers play their home games at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, a ballpark that boasts a capacity of 56,000 and a place that has hosted the LA Dodgers for over 60 years.
