    About our Neil Gaiman news

Latest news on Neil Gaiman, the acclaimed English author, whose notable works include American Gods, The Sandman, and Coraline.

In July 2024, five women accused Neil Gaiman of sexual assault and abuse, sharing their accounts on a podcast and with The New York Times. Allegations included a former nanny claiming assault shortly after meeting Gaiman and a tenant accusing him of demanding sexual favours to remain on his property. These claims prompted Disney to halt production of The Graveyard Book film in September 2024, while work on Good Omens season three was suspended, leading to Gaiman’s departure in October. In January 2025, New York magazine published a feature detailing these and additional allegations. Gaiman denied any non-consensual activity, acknowledging in a blog post that he could have "done so much better" and was "trying to do the work needed".
